Description

The Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University invites applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Professional Practice in Energy, depending on qualifications. The individual in this position will provide leadership in the development and growth of the Neeley School's energy-related curriculum and programs. This position is open to candidates with expertise at the intersection of business and energy; we are open to candidates from any business discipline and varied energy perspectives, including but not limited to energy economics, energy management, and energy policy. This position will be a professional practice appointment as described below. The position will be available as early as August 2018.

The Neeley School offers a fulltime MBA, a Professional MBA, an Executive MBA, an MBA for Energy Professionals, an MS in Supply Chain Management, a Healthcare MBA and a Master of Accounting.

Requirements

The position requires a PhD, DBA, or equivalent doctorate in a business, energy, or relevant higher education discipline. The successful applicant will become a faculty member within one of the six departments within the Neeley School (Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Management and Leadership). Candidates for this position should have a strong record of accomplishment as a teacher with significant experience as a leader within the professional energy industry. Candidates should be capable of teaching graduate level courses at the intersection of business and energy, as well as graduate and undergraduate courses in their home discipline/department. Experience with graduate education and executive education in energy will be desirable. This position is not tenure-track and carries no significant research expectations; however, research experience in the business of energy is a plus.
