Archival Processor & Reference Associate

Arranges and describes new and existing archival, book, and manuscripts collections; created detailed inventories and contextual/historical information for collections; writes and publishes online finding aids for manuscripts and archival collections; provides patrons with timely and accurate information for their reference queries and reproduction requests in person, over the phone, and online; develops and updates documentation; and trains student staff.

Bachelor's degree in history or a related field plus at least one year of experience in library special collections or archives required. Student experience will be considered. Master’s degree in library science or public history preferred. Criminal and other relevant background checks required.
