DESCRIPTION: The NAU Kitt School of Music seeks a dynamic, creative, collaborative, and dedicated teacher of cello.
Responsibilities would include teaching applied cello, chamber music, string techniques, and other duties in the
candidate’s field of expertise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 Masters in performance
 Two years' experience teaching cello

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 Doctorate in performance
 Experience teaching cello at the university level
 Experience teaching or coaching chamber music
 Commitment to working effectively with NAU’s diverse faculty, staff, and student population

Northern Arizona University requires satisfactory results for the following: a criminal background investigation, an

SALARY: Commensurate with academic qualifications and relevant experience.
