Visiting Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Logistics Management

 

The University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL invites applications for a full-time visiting faculty position in Supply Chain Logistics Management (position 108470) at the Assistant Professor level to start in August 2018, subject to funding.  Candidates for this position must demonstrate the potential to pursue a balanced commitment to excellent teaching, productive research, and active service.

 

Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Logistics, or closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution with a strong commitment to teaching, academic research, and service. 

 

ABDs will also be considered, but an extension is only possible if the doctorate degree is completed by April 30, 2019.

 

Responsibilities of this position include teaching Supply Chain Logistics Management, upper level elective courses in the major and courses in the MBA program.  Preferred candidates will also be qualified to teach International Business and an introductory course in Marketing.  Salary will be AACSB competitive.  While the position is housed at the Pensacola campus, it may require teaching at other university campuses.

 

The UWF College of Business is AACSB accredited and growing.  It serves over 1,800 students with nine undergraduate majors and two masters programs.  Supply Chain Logistics Management is one undergraduate major within the Department of Marketing, Supply Chain Logistics, and Economics.  The department consists of a diverse group of scholars where collaboration is encouraged.
