Johnson & Wales University, one of the nation’s best-known and most respected professionally-focused universities, announces a nationwide leadership search to recruit a new Chancellor and CEO who will guide the university in pursuit of its high standards, goals and mission.


Founded in 1914, Johnson & Wales University (JWU) is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution with more than 14,000 graduate, undergraduate and online students at its four campuses in Providence, Rhode Island; North Miami, Florida; Denver, Colorado; and Charlotte, North Carolina. JWU has evolved from a world leader in culinary and hospitality to a university that provides students with opportunities in a wide breadth of industry-relevant disciplines. Reporting directly to the Johnson & Wales Board of Trustees, the Chancellor is the CEO of the university and is responsible for the management and administration of its strategic initiatives.
