Assistant Professor of Philosophy Instruction

The Hope College Department of Philosophy invites applications for a position as Assistant Professor of Instruction in Philosophy beginning in Fall 2023. The Area of Specialization is open. The Area of Concentration is open, but teaching experience in Feminist Philosophy, Asian Philosophy, or Africana Philosophy is a plus. Job responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester, most of which will be in philosophy but some will be interdisciplinary. There will also be an opportunity to teach upper-level philosophy courses in one’s areas of scholarly interest.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Philosophy by time of appointment.
