As an executive researcher, your primary objective is to draft briefs with key information for SCAD leaders in advance of meetings and events, as well as to support writers on the executive communication team with the very latest SCAD facts and information. You will become a reserve of vital SCAD knowledge about SCAD schools, events, programs, special projects, and other initiatives, and be able to quickly locate all other facts and statistics about SCAD including its three physical locations and their respective states and/or countries, as well as the SCADnow online learning platform.
Among other duties, you will conduct research outside of SCAD related to other universities and educational programs, notable people, and current events in the world of art and design that might relate to SCAD, as well as any and all external information that might help SCAD position itself as the preeminent university for creative careers, including facts, statistics, and trends relevant to the university’s academic degree programs. Throughout the year, you will also be assigned to specific projects, both ongoing and time-limited, to include special requests from the director of executive communications and the executive dean.
Minimum Qualifications:
Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
