Summary of Opportunity

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is announcing the search for an MFM physician to join the team. 

Be part of an extraordinary clinical team of perinatologists who serve as consultants for all high-risk obstetrical patients within the Temple University Health System, conducting non-invasive and invasive fetal evaluations and studies. This position includes an active clinical practice and teaching responsibilities with medical students and residents (21 residents in PGY I, II, III and IV). Research and mentorship are part of this position. 

The Division of Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine is one of five clinical divisions including General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Women’s Pelvic Health Program, Reproductive Endocrinology and Gynecologic Oncology. There are approximately 30 MDs or MD/PhDs in the department plus supporting administrative, nursing and research staff.

Candidate Qualifications

  • MD, DO or Foreign Equivalent
  • Fellowship trained in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
  • Board Certification or Active Candidate in OB/GYN and MFM 
  • Must have an unrestricted medical license and DEA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
