Assistant Professor in BioSciences: The Department of BioSciences at Rice University in Houston, TX (https://biosciences.rice.edu/) invites applications for one tenure-track, assistant professor position to begin July 1, 2023.

Research in the Biosciences Department at Rice University leverages quantitative approaches to study biological systems using both bottom-up and top-down experimental procedures. We welcome applications in all areas of cellular and developmental neuroscience, including the use of vertebrate or non-vertebrate model systems or computational methods. We seek candidates whose research is synergistic with the strengths of current faculty. Thus, we encourage applicants with research at the intersection of neuroscience with systems biology, cell biology, developmental biology, or genetics. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic, innovative, and independent research program supported by external funding and will teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
