Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides daily accounts receivable follow-up oversight, and training to the billing staff. Assists the Revenue Cycle Director with implementation of plans, policies and procedures for all sub-specialties with Otorhinolaryngology. Ability to make independent decisions and implement initiatives. Reviews and analyzes monthly collection patterns of rejections and edits. Takes an active role, as a project leader, for existing programs as well as the start up of new programs. Performance will have a direct impact on Dept. of Oto and UPHS hospitals reimbursement and bad debt performance. Identifies and analyzes issues related to non-payment of accounts receivable. Is divisional liaison with Office of Billing Compliance and Professional Billing Office. Ensures that all billing and coding quality measures and targets are met.

Clinical and PSOM Revenue, Self-Pay, Credits, and Bad Debt

QUALIFICATION:

Must be currently enrolled in a college program.
0-1 years' experience in an Accounting/financial reporting position required.
0-1 years' experience financial information systems report building

0-1 years' experience (Health Care required)
