The Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Head and Neck Oncology. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. American Board of Otolaryngology certification or eligibility is desirable.

Teaching responsibilities may include medical student, resident and fellow education , as well as formal lecture opportunities.

Clinical responsibilities may include clinical and surgical care of head and neck patients.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include an active role in growing the existing clinical and translational head and neck surgery research program. Candidates must document past research experience and present future ideas. Evidence of scholarship is required on the Clinician-Educator track. Applicants should have an established record of scholarship activity and/or research programs related to head and neck oncology.
