The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of breast and gynecological pathology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification/eligibility in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology is required and an unrestricted medical license/eligibility in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Teaching responsibilities may include training medical students in the Perelman School of Medicine and resident/fellow teaching at Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH).

Clinical responsibilities may include clinical pathology service in anatomic pathology with focus in breast and gynecological pathology as well coverage of frozen sections, night and weekend call and occasional autopsy coverage at PAH.

Experience in frozen section coverage is desirable.
