Lecturer - Economics

Summary of Position

Permanent full time lecturer in the Department of Economics to begin in Fall 2018. Successful candidates will be able to teach principals of microeconomics and macroeconomics and some upper division undergraduate courses in the candidate’s area of interest.
 

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate must hold a master’s degree in economics. Candidates must be capable of excellent/dynamic teaching in variety of courses with some opportunity to teach online. Candidates should also be capable of developing a research agenda to maintain credentialing at SP or PA levels consistent with AACSB requirements
 

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate in economics is preferred.
 

Primary Function of Organizational Unit

The Economics and Finance Department supports the Bachelor of Arts in Economics and the Bachelor of Science with concentrations in Economics and Finance. At the graduate level, the economics faculty supports courses in economic environmental studies and the Master of Business Administration.
