The Literacy, Culture, and International Education division at The University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education (GSE) seeks applicants for a lecturer position in the area of Education, Culture and Society. The successful applicant would be a part of our small foundations group, and will be responsible for teaching core courses such as Qualitative Reseach Methods, Anthropology and Education, and School and Society. Additional courses could be offered based on the applicants' interests and programmatic needs, and the overall load is expected to be 2-3 courses per semester. The position will also require helping with our general programmatic needs including master's level application review and master's level advisement.

This appointment is a full time position for one academic year, and can be renewed twice for a total of three years, contingent upon a satisfactory performance evaluation after each year, and programmatic needs. We will begin reviewing applications immediately, and will continue to consider new applications until the position is filled. We intend to fill the position prior to the upcoming academic year (fall 2022).
