Vice Provost for Enrollment Management

With 17 schools and colleges, eight campuses, hundreds of degree programs and more than 39,000 students, Temple is one of the nation’s most comprehensive and diverse learning environments. The University has experienced student enrollment growth of 16 percent over the last decade while recruiting more than 500 tenured or tenure-track faculty, the largest influx in the institution’s history.

Temple seeks an experienced, collaborative and visionary professional to oversee all aspects of enrollment management. Reporting directly to the provost, the vice provost for enrollment management will be a highly visible University leader and member of the provost’s senior staff. The vice provost will lead the development, articulation and implementation of a vision for a new era of enrollment management that produces greater strategy, coordination and analytical rigor in every phase of the enrollment process. The vice provost will develop and lead a team in admissions, student financial services, the registrar’s office and veteran affairs. She/he will be charged with partnering across the University to deliver the optimal undergraduate enrollment program for Temple to meet its short- and long-term enrollment goals and facilitate its success in recruitment and retention for the future.

The successful candidate will possess a demonstrated commitment to the mission of Temple University and to its core values of access, excellence and diversity, an ability to manage and motivate professional staff within all areas of enrollment, and a commitment to and great skill at interdivisional collaboration. The new leader will also display an appreciation for the possibilities that flow from a Temple University education and an eagerness to integrate into the academic and intellectual enterprise of the University. Exceptional analytical, technological and interpersonal communication skills are essential. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred. Must possess significant enrollment management experience including a sophisticated understanding of enrollment planning strategies, admissions recruitment and financial aid. Requires outstanding leadership and analytical abilities.
