Benedictine University (BenU) seeks applications for its next Provost/Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs (P/EVPAA). Located 25 miles outside of Chicago in the beautiful town of Lisle, Illinois, BenU's main campus provides faculty, staff and students with the amenities of suburban life along with easy access to vibrant metropolitan Chicago. BenU also has branch campuses in Springfield, Illinois, and Mesa, Arizona and 11 additional Illinois delivery sites. There are also three class sites in China and two in Vietnam. In addition to its on-site programs, BenU offers online programs that reach students across the United States and internationally.

BenU is a diverse and inclusive academic community dedicated to teaching and learning, scholarship and service, and truth and justice, as inspired by the Catholic intellectual tradition, the social teaching of the Catholic Church, and the principles of wisdom in The Rule of St. Benedict. In addition to 56 undergraduate majors and 20 graduate programs, Benedictine University offers eight undergraduate accelerated programs for adult learners and four doctoral programs.

It is expected that candidates hold a doctoral degree, have achieved tenure, have demonstrated substantial scholarship, and have at least five years of successful academic administrative experience as a Provost, Dean or other comparable position. The successful candidate will enthusiastically embrace BenU's Mission and Vision and be capable of exercising executive responsibility and have a deep appreciation for the importance of teaching, scholarship, service, and administration.
