The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Abdominal Imaging. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible with sub-specialty training in abdominal imaging.

Teaching responsibilities may include daily clinical supervision and teaching of residents and fellows during readouts and conferences and participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical sub-specialties. Teaching of medical students will be limited to those rotating through the Department of Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Pennsylvania Hospital. In addition, the candidate will prepare learning materials and lectures, teaching posters and presentations for national review. The successful candidate will be an accomplished educator and be expected to serve in an educational leadership role within the Abdominal Imaging Division.

Clinical responsibilities may include Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy of the body. Prior experience in image guided biopsy is desirable but not required. The successful candidate will also participation in the Abdominal Imaging off-hour on call program; including evenings, nights and weekends coverage.

Penn Radiology provides clinical services for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center, as well as affiliated outpatient imaging centers located in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This position is primarily located at Pennsylvania Hospital.
