Assistant or Associate Professor, Computer & Information Technology

Computer & Information Technology:  Assistant or Associate Professor (two positions available). Seeking two assistant/associate professors to teach courses in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program.  These tenure-track positions are at the rank of assistant or associate professor commencing in August 2018.  These positions are a unique opportunity for faculty who are committed to open access education, diversity, inclusion and strong ties to the community. Responsibilities include:  teach courses in information technology or health information technology; advise students; maintain a program of scholarship; provide meaningful service to the CIT department, campus, students, community and university.  

 

Required:  Master’s degree in information technology, computing, or related field, current knowledge and skills in applied information technology or computing, and a commitment to teaching excellence. Candidates for an associate professor position must have an existing record of high quality teaching, scholarship and service commensurate with university expectations for tenured associate professors.  Consideration will be given to those with a PhD in a related field; a breadth of teaching experience in information technology; industry experience in information technology or related fields.
