LECTURER POSITION PHOTOGRAPHY, STUDIO ART

POSITION:  The School of Art at Texas Christian University announces a one-year Lecturer appointment in the field of Fine Art Photography, 2017-2018. Candidates should be prepared to teach 3 courses each semester, to include Beginning Photography and Color Photography. The successful applicant will also hire lab monitors, supervise lab monitors and report maintenance issues in the photography lab                                           

QUALIFICATIONS: MFA degree in Photography required. Teaching experience beyond graduate school is preferred. The photography lab is entirely digital therefore a thorough familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is required. Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom is helpful.  The candidate should understand digital printing technology, familiarity with Epson printers is helpful. Additionally, knowledge of studio lighting and mounting technologies is helpful.

RANK AND SALARY: Classified as a Lecturer, salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
