Northern Arizona University’s Personalized Learning is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure track Lecturer in Computer Information Technology. This position does not teach but is assigned to a caseload of approximately 150 students. Along with serving as a Faculty Mentor to current Personalized Learning students from recruitment through graduation, providing guidance, motivation, solutions, policy interpretation, and access to NAU resources. The position requires that the candidate work remotely and be an Arizona resident. Student contact is primarily maintained via telephone, instant messaging, email, threaded discussions, group discussions, and message boards. This position requires the ability to meet, with or without reasonable accommodation, the Arizona Administrative Code Fleet Safety Policy requirements as occasional travel to Flagstaff is required.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field, and three years’ experience in tutoring or teaching full-time at the college level in Fundamentals of Programming, Fundamentals of Software Development, Data Systems, Systems Analysis of Web Applications or User Interface Design. Or two years of professional experience in Programming, Software Development, Data Systems, Systems Analysis, Web Applications or User Interface Design.

Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience.
