Montana State University invites applications for the position of Director of Financial Aid Services.

Founded in 1893 as a Land Grant University, Montana State University (MSU) is composed of eight academic colleges and a graduate school and boasts a friendly, supportive faculty and campus environment. The Director of Financial Aid will have an extraordinary opportunity to elevate the MSU Office of Financial Aid Services as a premier, innovative, customer service focused provider of need and merit based assistance to the students at Montana State University. The Director will lead a well-established staff that administers federal, state and institutional financial aid, loan programs, and scholarship programs; handles federal needs analysis; and interprets/applies federal and state financial aid regulations in a dynamic, fast paced work environment. MSU seeks a creative, energetic, transparent, and respected Financial Aid leader to build on the considerable strengths and opportunities within the Office of Financial Aid Services.

Reporting to the Vice President for Student Success, the Director of Financial Aid Services is the senior administrator in the Office of Financial Aid Services. The Director will be responsible for working with the MSU enrollment management team, the other unit directors in the Division of Student Success, senior administration, the MSU Foundation, faculty, students and staff in setting strategic, operational, and innovative new directions for the office which will enable MSU to continue our strong history of access and student success.
