Qualifications:
1) Minimal requirement Master's degree from an accredited institution.
2) Record of undergraduate teaching success.

Responsibilities: CSUB is looking specifically for a dynamic person with knowledge, skills, and abilities to work cooperatively with current faculty, teach undergraduate courses in the major, and to better serve an ever-increasing number of majors (currently 450+) representing a diverse student body in a culturally diverse community. Teaching assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following existing courses and labs-Physiology of Exercise, Exercise Prescription, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Advanced Nutrient Utilization for Sport and Human Performance, and Principles of Strength and Conditioning, Introduction to Kinesiology, and Measurement and Evaluation. Background Check:
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who apply for the position.

Mandated Reporter:
The person holding this position is considered a "mandated reporter" under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.

Compensation:
Competitive, dependent upon qualifications and professional experience. The CSU offers excellent health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
