Job Description Summary
Overview: Educational Technology and Learning Management is offering an internship program to current MLS students interested in subject-specific librarianship and community development. The internship is an opportunity for the library to offer leadership while benefiting from support to the library's research, instruction, and outreach programming.

Job Description

Responsibilities: Assist with scheduling and space management; coordinating with Library Computing Services for technology needs. Assist in checkout of materials and front desk management; assist with library programs such as workshops, events, and demonstrations; support use of technology which may include 3D printers, virtual reality headsets, and games; contribute to the development of ETLM process related to space and technology management. Opportunities to supervise and schedule student-staff and assist in student development/training.

Requirements: Enrollment in ALA-accredited graduate program in library-information science, though students in other graduate programs will be considered. Strong academic background and public service orientation. Ability to learn quickly, work independently.
