Assistant Professor – Field Crop Entomologist

Provide leadership in rice and other agronomic crop entomology applied research and extension programming as assigned.
Collaborate with state and regional faculty on multiple entomology and cropping system issues.
Develop best management practice solutions for state and regional cropping systems in arthropod IPM for crops.
Extend solutions to stakeholders using modern educational methods, electronic communication technology, and publications.
Provide support to other mission-oriented entomological issues including pollinator health, etc. as assigned.
Provide guidance to graduate students, contribute to applied course teaching as requested, and train county extension agents, growers, consultants and industry personnel in entomology BMPs and IPM.
