The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania seeks applications from outstanding candidates for an appointment as an Assistant Professor in experimental particle physics. In exceptional cases, an appointment at a higher rank may be considered. The successful candidate will develop an innovative research program that will join our existing effort in collider physics on the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. The candidate will be expected to attract external research funding, to advise graduate students, and to excel in teaching undergraduate students.
