Senior Associate Dean

The University of Denver seeks nominations and applications for the position of Senior Associate Dean for the Josef Korbel School of International Studies.

The Josef Korbel School of International Studies is one of the world's leading schools for the study of international relations. Our innovative programs provide students the skills, knowledge and expertise needed to become global leaders in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Since its founding in 1964, the Josef Korbel School has challenged students to think independently and innovatively to create change.

Reporting directly to the Dean, the Senior Associate Dean serves as the chief operating officer for the School, bringing strong leadership in international studies to help drive strategic growth in related research and curricula development. The Senior Associate Dean will partner with the Dean in building the School’s capabilities, both operationally and strategically, with the goal of increasing the quality and visibility of the School.

The Senior Associate Dean is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the academic administration of the program and is expected to develop a long term vision and strategy to significantly enhance the research and pedagogical capability within the School.
