Instructor of English

The English Department at TCU invites applications for an Instructor of Writing with a specialization in rhetoric and composition, creative writing, and/or the digital humanities to contribute to our Writing major and minors in both Writing and Creative Writing. Instructorships are one-year, renewable appointments. Instructors teach a 4/4 load, primarily in required composition and other lower-division creative writing and rhetoric courses with opportunities to teach upper-division courses in area of specialization as needed.

 

Requirements: PhD or MFA in English, Rhetoric & Composition, or Creative Writing by August 1, 2017 and demonstrated excellence in teaching writing.
