Executive Director of Business Transformation Initiatives

The University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) seeks an innovative and collaborative senior executive to serve as the Executive Director of Business Transformation Initiatives and provide leadership for a new campus-wide Program Management Office (PMO).

Reporting to the Administrative Vice Chancellor and in collaboration with the Vice Chancellor/CFO, the Executive Director, Business Transformation Initiatives serves as senior executive responsible for the UCLA Program Management Office (PMO) providing broad campus-wide services with significant institutional impact.  As leader of the PMO, the Executive Director facilitates alignment of the project portfolio with campus priorities, a strong link between strategy and execution, change enabled business transformation, and the reliable delivery of enterprise system solutions.

The Executive Director serves as a collaborative partner across academic and administration units to deliver solutions that enable operational excellence, best-in-class performance, and continuous improvement to realize expected benefits. The incumbent will provide program management and coordinate the leadership for a number of enterprise system initiatives.  These initiatives are major technical implementations, but are first and foremost, business transformation projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in portfolio and program management of large business transformation and system implementation initiatives in a related environment. The incumbent will have a demonstrated track record of collaborative, effective change leadership in a complex and dynamic organization.
