Graduate Director/Associate Professor

The Manhattan College Chemical Engineering Department is accepting applications and nominations to fill a tenure-track faculty position.  The successful candidate will also serve as the Graduate Director of the Chemical Engineering Masters of Science Program. Candidates must have an earned doctorate degree in chemical engineering or a closely related discipline. The individual should have a commitment to excellence in teaching and engineering education as well as a record of scholarship/published research. Excellent communication skills are essential, and prior administrative experience is desirable for the position. The successful candidate should be eligible for appointment at the rank of associate or full professor and is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate chemical engineering and engineering science courses. It is expected that the new graduate director will join the Department in the Fall Semester 2017.

 

In addition to a traditional Chemical Engineering M.S. degree concentration, the graduate program includes Cosmetic and Petroleum Engineering concentrations. The Chemical Engineering undergraduate program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc.
