Vice President of Marketing and Enrollment

Bethel University, located in St. Paul, Minnesota, is pleased to announce its search for the next vice president of marketing and enrollment. Bethel seeks a Christ-centered, dynamic, visionary leader to serve as the chief strategist on all matters related to marketing and enrollment for the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Adult & Professional Studies, Bethel Seminary, and Graduate School. As a senior leader, the vice president of marketing and enrollment will lead with an entrepreneurial spirit and have a proven track record of team building and cultural competence necessary for leading the university’s commitment to increase student enrollment and create and champion a clear, distinctive Bethel brand.

It is expected the successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible successful leadership at a senior administrative level. While experience in higher education is strongly preferred, applicants with sales, marketing operations, and recruiting backgrounds are encouraged to apply.  Master’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.

Bethel was founded as a Seminary in 1871 by Swedish-American Baptist minister John Alexis Edgren. The Baptist General Conference (now Converge) took on support in 1914 and it became Bethel College and Seminary. In 2004, the institution became Bethel University, a change in name that better matched their broad and growing scope of academic offerings. Now a thriving liberal arts university, Bethel has deep roots in a pietistic, evangelical Christianity characterized by vibrant faith, devotion to Scripture, and an irenic spirit.

According to Study.com, Bethel University ranks in the top ten best Christian Universities in the nation and 91% of seniors rank their Bethel education good or excellent. With more than 100 areas of study across four schools, Bethel develops broadly educated, critically thinking Christians who know what it means to follow their dreams with a living faith.
