Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of brain tumor surgery and brain tumor research. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery or Pediatric Neurosurgery.

Teaching responsibilities may include education and training of medical students, residents and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include Brain surgery and Spine surgery, including treatment for brain tumors, hydrocephalus, spasticity, Chiari malformation, craniosynostosis and spinal disorders.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include Clinical research in brain surgery and brain tumors.
