Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio invites applications, nominations, and expressions of interest for the position of Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services/CFO. Reporting to President William Ruud, the VPFA is the chief financial and business officer and treasurer for the College.

Marietta College, chartered in 1835, is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian, undergraduate, residential liberal arts institution with a full-time enrollment of 1,284. Marietta College reaffirms the liberal arts as foundational in an education of the highest quality, offering more than 50 academic majors that are designed to prepare them for a successful future. The College is located in Marietta, Ohio, population 14,027, a city of beautiful parks, two rivers, 19th-century architecture, brick streets, historical landmarks, and museums. The VPFA is responsible for all phases of business and fiscal affairs including financial planning and budgeting; accounting and business operations; financial reports and audits; treasury functions; human resources; facilities management, including planning and construction; procurement and contracting; auxiliary operations and services; information technology; campus safety; risk management; State and Federal reporting; and articulating and implementing a strategic plan for Finance and Administrative Services which aligns with the College's strategic plan. In addition to internal management responsibilities, the VPFA serves as the liaison and support to the Finance, Investments, Audit and Administrative Operations, and Compensation committees of the Board of Trustees.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in business or finance and several years of progressively responsible and successful experience in financial affairs and operations management of a complex organization. Preference will be given to candidates with a CPA or graduate degree in business or finance, and experience in higher education.
