The R. Barbara Gitenstein Library is seeking candidates for a Senior Library Assistant. 

This postion is responsible for handling the receipt and preliminary processing of Library materials including books, media, and standing orders. 

Main Responsibilities: 

  •     Receive and verify vendor shipments
  •     Search for and input bibliographic information into Library database as needed
  •     Maintain standing order database
  •     Generate monthly reports
  •     Sort and distribute daily mail
  •     Assist in projects as needed

Required Qualifications: 

  • Years of experience 1+
  • Degree  HS
  • Computer and clerical skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Library Experience
  • Ability to do OCLC searching
  • Detail oriented
