The Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track.

Expertise is required in the specific areas of single-cell genomics, epigenomics, 3D genome organization and pediatric cancer. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in statistics, and sufficient postdoctoral experience to demonstrate accomplishments, independence and outstanding promise in developing cutting-edge computational algorithms as well as working in consortium projects such as the Human Tumor Cell Atlas.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include expanding basic and translational research efforts in pediatric cancer. The applicant will be asked to guide junior bioinformatics staff and work with others on collaborative projects. In this research position, the successful candidate will be expected to obtain extramural funding from grants and other resources and develop a strong record of scholarly publications.
