Tenure-track Professor in Modern Korean Humanities

The Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in modern Korean humanities. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2022. We are particularly interested in scholars with an interdisciplinary range who combine an interest in transnational dynamics with strengths in film, media, and/or cultural studies. All applicants should possess a high level of proficiency in Korean.  Candidates should demonstrate the capacity for excellence in teaching as well as research and will be expected to teach a range of offerings related to Korean humanities, from introductory undergraduate lecture courses to graduate seminars.
