Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor/Lecturer of Business

The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa seeks candidates for two open visiting positions at the assistant teaching professor/lecturer level starting in August of 2021.

The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially-based private institution of 9,600 undergraduate and graduate students.  The University is ideally situated on a beautiful 110-acre campus next to the Hillsborough River, adjacent to Tampa's dynamic central business district, which is a growing, vibrant, diverse metropolitan area.  UT reflects this vibrancy; with 22 consecutive years of enrollment growth UT boasts 260 student organizations, a multicultural student body from 50 states and 140 countries, and "Top Tier" ranking in U.S. News and World Report.

The teaching load is three (3) 4-credit hour courses for a total of 12 hours per semester. The successful candidate will teach three sections of 4-credit freshmen level Introduction to Global Business course (BUS 101) or other business courses based on their qualifications in the fall 2021, and in the spring 2022 and participate in department activities. Qualifications
An MBA or other business graduate degree with at least 18 credit hours in business from an AACSB-accredited program or equivalent is required.  At least five years of professional experience in the field is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to liberal arts education and will have a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
