Assistant Professor - Theoretical Quantum Condensed Matter Physics

The Columbia University Department of Physics seeks to appoint an assistant professor in the area of theoretical quantum condensed matter physics. It is expected that the candidate will develop a vigorous independent research program, continuing the long Columbia record of forefront accomplishment in science. Applicants for this position must possess a doctoral degree in Physics or a related field and have demonstrated the ability to do pioneering theoretical research as well as the promise of excellence in teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
