Assistant/Associate Professor, Finance

The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Finance seeks applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance, starting August 2021. Primary teaching responsibilities will be undergraduate courses in real estate and finance with expectations for engagement with the real estate industry. The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D in Real Estate and/or Finance from a nationally or internationally recognized AACSB accredited university doctoral program. Record of excellence in independently teaching university level real estate or finance courses; demonstrated ability to produce publishable research in business-related journals; and demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience or a research focus on real estate; previous work experience or relationship with the real estate industry; evidence of research, teaching, and/or service that positively advances issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion; and administrative or leadership experience.
