The Department of Health and Exercise Studies (HES) seeks applicants for three (3) full-time non-tenure track faculty positions at the rank of Lecturer or Teaching Assistant Professor for the Fall 2021 semester. The successful candidate will possess strong teaching and evaluation skills with an interest in physical fitness, wellness, and health. This position will teach an estimated eight credit hours per semester. There are opportunities for some disciplinary focus as well as overall fitness and wellness-related classes. Some preferred focal areas include: somatics, team sports, adapted physical education, aquatics, stress management, and minor courses. Additional responsibilities will include equipment planning and procurement for areas of expertise, in addition to departmental and university committee participation. Candidates should also be willing to engage in a variety of instructional modalities, including online instruction and experiential learning.
