University of Waterloo - The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC)

The CEMC (http://cemc.uwaterloo.ca) is Canada's largest and most recognized outreach organization for promoting and creating activities and materials in mathematics and computer science. The CEMC is housed within the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo.

It was founded in 1995 with origins dating back to the 1960s. The CEMC’s activities include 15 mathematics and computing contests with more than 265 000 registrations annually, an extensive school visiting program, a variety of face-to-face and virtual workshops and conferences for students and teachers, a large suite of free online resources, and an online Master’s program aimed specifically at secondary school mathematics teachers.
